
George Gagnidze Joins Hilbert Artists Management
By Francisco SalazarGeorge Gagnidze has joined the roster of Hilbert Artists Management for General Management.
The Georgian baritone has been a mainstay at the Metropolitan Opera since his debut in “Rigoletto” during the 2008-09 season and has performed nearly 150 times on the stage in such operas as “Nabucco,” “Macbeth,” “Aida,” and “Tosca.”
He has performed around the world in such theaters as the Staatsoper Hamburg, Opéra National de Paris, Teatro Massimo Bellini, Washington Concert Opera, Oper im Steinbruch Festival, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Arena of Verona, Teatro San Carlo, and Festival of Aix-en-Provence.
His repertoire includes the works of Verdi, Puccini, Giordano, Leoncavallo, and Mascagni.
