Juvenilia, the European Network of Young Opera Friends, has announced the election of a new Board for the 2026 to 2028.
The announcement was made during the organization’s annual assembly in Berlin on May 8, 2026.
In sum, 129 members cast votes across 15 candidates for 1o Board positions. The results had Tim Pionteck reelected President, with Olga Tochilkina elected Vice President and Alessio Moretti elected Treasurer. Claire Cardinaletti, Quentin Delorme, Alexander Hesse, and Giulio Pasqualetti were elected as Event Coordinators, while Igor Getman, Yee Kwan Law, and Blanca Vázquez were elected as Communications Officers.
The new Board will serve from July 2026 through June 2028 with an aim to create opportunities for young opera lovers to connect.
“We are very excited to begin this new term with such a diverse and committed team,” said Pionteck, per an official press release. “Last year already exceeded our expectations: 720 participants from 31 nationalities came together to celebrate a very much alive and quintessentially European art form: opera.”
Juvenilia was founded in Milan in 1998 and received the European Charlemagne Youth Prize in 2018.
