On Jan. 14, Juan Diego Flórez will perform a concert at the National Palace of Culture in Bulgaria.

Flórez will be joined by the Sofia Philharmonic and conductor Christopher Franklin. The program will include music by Saint-Saëns from “Samson and Delilah,” Gounod from “Roméo et Juliette,” Lalo from “Le Roi d’Ys,” Lehár from “Das Land des Lachelns” and “Giuditta,” Donizetti from “Don Pasquale,” “Lucia di Lammermoor,” and “L’elisir d’Amore” and Puccini from “La Bohème” and “Manon Lescaut.”

The concert comes a few weeks after Flórez performed at the Teatro alla Scala’s opening night gala.

The tenor is sent to return to the stage in the spring for productions of “Faust” and “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” at the Wiener Staatsoper. He is also set to perform in Zurich.
