The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is to present a Gala Concert & Benefit Dinner on March 16, 2026.

The gala will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City. This evening will celebrate the transformative power of music while raising crucial funds for life-changing programs that serve over 2,000 young people across all five boroughs of New York City annually.

The Gala concert will feature an exhilarating musical journey through American culture and song in celebration of the nation’s 250 anniversary. 450 young choristers will take the stage alongside special guest artist, singer Joyce DiDonato, in a program led by YPC Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez and Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez that weaves together classical, spiritual, folk, and popular traditions.

Accompanied by a vibrant 25-piece orchestra, the ensemble will sing works from Samuel Barber, John Leavitt and Gordon Getty. The performance will be brought to life with choreography led by Jacqueline Bird, captivating staging, and costumes.

In a statement, Francisco J. Núñez said, “YPC’s gala is a celebration of what becomes possible when young people are given the opportunity to discover their voices. This evening helps ensure that our choristers continue to grow in confidence, artistry, and hope for the future.”
