Mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza and pianist Eduviges Picone have announced another recital at the Casa de la Cultura in Buenos Aires.

The recital offers an eclectic journey ranging from the drama and technique of opera to the intimacy and phrasing of Argentine art song. The program features works by Astor Piazzolla, Ariel Ramírez, Daniel Catán, Ernesto Lecuona, Ruperto Chapí, Mozart, Rossini, Massenete, Bizet, and Bernstein.

Last Dec., Forteza and Picone performed “Con Fuoco” at the Casa de la Cultura.

The Sept. 25 recital is free and open to the public at a first come, first served basis. The event will start at 7 pm.
