Joyce DiDonato, Leah Hawkins, Joshua Hopkins & Nina Stemme Lead Philadelphia Orchestra’s 2024-25 Season

The Philadelphia Orchestra has announced its 2024-25 Season. Here is a look at the vocal performances for the season.

Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts perform Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with Joyce DiDonato as the featured soloist.

Performance Dates: Oct. 3-5, 2024

Riccardo Muti conducts Verdi’s Requiem with soloists Juliana Grigoryan, Isabel De Paoli, Giovanni Sala, and Maharram Huseynov.

Performance Dates: Oct. 24-26, 2024

Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Händel’s “Messiah.”

Performance Dates: Dec. 21-22, 2024

Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Joshua Hopkins join forces for a program that includes Heggie’s “Songs for Murdered Sisters” and Mahler’s Symphony No. 9.

Performance Dates: Jan. 9-11, 2025

Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts soloists Lara Downes, Leah Hawkins, Rihab Chaieb, Issachah Savage, and Ryan McKinny in a program that includes Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 (“Choral”).

Performance Dates: May 22-24, 2025 

Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Leah Hawkins, Rihab Chaieb, Issachah Savage, and Ryan McKinny in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 (“Choral”).

Performance Date: May 29, 2025 

Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde” with Nina Stemme and Stuart Skelton.

Performance Dates: June 1 & 8, 2025
