The Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) will present a special recital at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall on Jan. 15, 2023.

The showcase will spotlight five soloists from the Young Performers Career Advancement Program.

Amongst these soloists is bass-baritone Joseph Parrish, who has performed with the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, American Classical Orchestra, Festival Napa Valley, City Lyric Opera, and Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He recently performed at the Baruch Performing Arts Center as the winner of the TCA Susan Wadsworth International Auditions.

He is joined by the Dior Quartet, flautist Amir Hoshang Farsi, violinist Njioma Chinyere, pianist Maxim Lando, and painist Clayton Stephenson.

“Throughout its 27-year history, APAP’s YPCA program has been an important catalyst for the burgeoning of promising careers for hundreds of classical musicians and performers. APAP is proud to serve as this launch pad and introduce these young, talented artists to the many representatives leading and booking for venues across North America,” said APAP President and CEO Lisa Richards Toney in an official press statement.
