Joseph Calleja is set to host a vocal masterclass at the Riga Jurmala Academy on April 9, 2021.

Calleja will work with students from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music who will perform works from Wagner, Donizetti, and Respighi.

The event will be streamed live for audiences on the Academy’s Facebook page.

Calleja recently performed at a gala concert with Opera Naples and also performed an Easter concert from Malta alongside Sondra Radvanovsky. He has also performed for the Met Opera Live Concert series alongside Diana Damrau. The tenor is scheduled to perform at the Teatro Real in a revival of “Tosca” alongside Radvanovsky and Maria Agresta and tour Australia in the fall.
