Baritone Jonathan McGovern has joined the IMG Artists roster for general management.

Artist Manager Isabella Pitman will represent him.

The British baritone has garnered rave reviews throughout his career and has established himself as an important UK talent. He has performed at teh Royal Opera House, Garsington Opera, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, and Scottish Opera. He has also performed at the Staatsoper Hamburg, Komische Oper Berlin, Théatre des Champs-Élysées, and the Teatro Arriaga Bilbao.

This season he performs Mr Redburn in “Billy Budd” for the Festival Enescu and makes his debut as Gabriel von Eisenstein in “Die Fledermaus” for the New National Theatre Tokyo. He also returns to Garsington Opera as Momus in “Platée.” McGovern is also a member of the ensemble at Stadttheater Bern where he has performed numerous roles.
