The Festival Castell Peralada has announced that it will stream Puccini’s “Tosca” from a July 25 performance.

The performance starring Sondra Radvanovsky, Jonas Kaufmann, and Carlos Alvarez, will be broadcast on the Castell Peralada Festival’s platform and My Opera Player on Sept. 17/18 & 24/25. Nicola Luisotti conducted the Teatro Real Orchestra.

The performance was recorded using a nine-camera setup and featured Radvanovsky and Kaufmann making encores of their respective arias “Vissi d’Arte” and “E Lucevan le Stelle.”

The performance also comes following a historic run of the opera at the Teatro Real by the three cast members. Radvanovsky did a total of six encores during the run while Kaufmann did two encores in his two performances.

Kaufmann next performs at the Bayerische Staatsoper in a gala performance and in a production of “Tristan und Isolde” while Radvanovsky heads to the Lyric Opera of Chicago for a new production of “Macbeth.”
