Jonas Kaufmann, Diana Damrau, Sonya Yoncheva, Ludovic Tézier Headline Les Grands Voix Les Grands Solistes April 2022 Slate

Les Grands Voix Les Grands Solistes has announced its April slate, which includes four unique star-laden performances.

First up will be “Hymne à l’Amour” at the Philharmonie de Paris. Diana Damrau and Jonas Kaufmann will be joined by Helmut Deutsch as they take on music by Schumann and Brahms.

Performance Date: April 3, 2022

That will be followed up with two opera performances. First up will be “Thaïs” at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Ermonela Jaho and Ludovic Tézier headline the cast which also stars Pene Pati, Guilhem Worms, Cassandres Berthon, Marielou Jacquard, and Marie Gautrot. Pierre Bleuse conducts the Orchestre National de France.

Performance Date: April 9, 2022

Sonya Yoncheva headlines “Anna Bolena,” also at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. She will be joined by Marianne Crebassa, Erwin Schrott, and Enea Scala. Maurizio Benini conducts the Orchestre de chambre de Paris.

Performance Date: April 11, 2022

The April slate draws to a close with a performance featuring Jakub Jósef Orlinski and Il Pomo d’Oro. This showcase at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées will feature music by Perez, Fux, Zelenka, Galuppi, Händel, and Reutter, among others.
