
Johanna Wallroth & Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris to Perform at La Chaise-Dieu Festival 2026

Soprano Johanna Wallroth is set to perform with the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris at La Chaise-Dieu Festival at Saint-Robert Abbey.
Wallroth will perform in Mahler’s “Symphony” No. 4 in G major. Also on the program is Mendelssohn’s “Symphony” No. 4 in A major, Op. 90. Daniele Rustioni conducts the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris.
In 2019, Wallroth won first prize at the Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition, received the Birgit Nilsson Scholarship in 2021, and represented Sweden at the Cardiff Singer of the World competition in 2023. This season she is slated to sing the role of Susanna at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin and perform in Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915” at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique for Radio France. She is a member of the Paris National Opera’s Lyric Troupe for the 2026-27 season.
The performance is scheduled for Aug. 28.
