The Handel and Haydn Society will celebrate the joys of Baroque music with “Bach + Vivaldi Gloria.”

The H+H Orchestra and Chorus will be joined by soprano Joélle Harvey, tenor Nicholas Phan, baritone Tyler Duncan, and conductor Jonathan Cohen, with concerts taking place on April 1 and Sunday, April 3 at Symphony Hall in Boston.

The program will feature three crown jewels of the Baroque era: Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” with Harvey as the soloists. That will be followed by  J.S. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1. and then CPE Bach’s “Magnificat“ with chorus and soloists Harvey, Phan, and Duncan. There will also be an alto soloist who has yet to be announced.

The concert will last two hours with intermission.
