Joélle Harvey Announced for Washington National Opera’s ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’

Soprano Joélle Harvey is set to join the cast of the Washington National Opera’s production of Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro.”

In her house debut, the soprano will take on the role of Susanna, joining a cast that stars Rosa Feola, Will Liverman, Le Bu, John Holiday, and Elizabeth Bishop. Robert Spano conducts the production, which opens on Nov. 14, 2025.

This season, Harvey, who has previously performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Houston Grand Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Utah Opera, and New York City Opera, is set to make her debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper as Susanna, will return to the Metropolitan Opera as Pamina in the company’s holiday presentation of “The Magic Flute,” and will also interpret Pamina in Santa Fe Opera’s new production staged by Christopher Luscombe and conducted by Harry Bicket.
