The Grand Théâtre de Genève has announced the reopening of its theater with three programs starting on June 13.

Sabine Devieilhe will open the hall in a recital with pianist Mathieu Pordoy. The program will feature music by Mozart and Richard Strauss.

On June 19, Jonathan Nott will conduct a Verdi and Wagner program with soloists Andreas Schager, Georg Zeppenfeld, Julien Behr, and Elsa Dreisig.

Jonas Kaufmann will perform the final concert in the series on July 2 with pianist Helmut Deutsch. The famed duo will present Schubert’s “Die schöne Müllerin.”

The theater will limit its capacity to 300 people due to new regulations of social distancing. For those not able to attend, the concerts will be streamed on the Grand Théâtre de Genève’s website.
