Javier Camarena to Perform Benefit Concert in Acapulco

Javier Camarena is set to give a recital in Acapulco, Mexico on Nov. 2 as part of the Forum Mundo Imperial.

The concert will support the cause “Corazón Guerrero” which is a campaign for the Sociedad Mexicana de Cardiología.

Camarena will be accompanied by the Orquesta Filarmónica de Acapulco under the baton of maestro Enrique Barrios. Pianist Ángel Rodríguez and the Mariachi Juvenil Alas de Puebla will also perform during the concert.

Camanrea will perform opera arias as well as Neapolitan songs and popular Mexican songs.

This season Camarena is set to perform at the Zurich Opera, Bilbao Opera, Teatro Real, and the Bayerische Staatsoper, among others.
