Javier Camarena has signed an exclusive contract with Sony Music México.

In a statement, the tenor said “I am happy and grateful to be part of the Sony Music México family and happy for the confidence that they have put in me to develop a beautiful album of Mexican music. I am sure, that with the experience of this great record company will obtain a project of great value.

Camarena has performed internationally at all the major opera companies around the world. He has recorded several albums for Decca Classics, Prima Classic, and Sony and has also been featured on DVDs of “Cosi fan tutte,” “Falstaff,” “Otello,” and “Le Comte Ory.”

The tenor next performs at the Dallas Opera, LA Opera, and Naples Opera. He also headlines a new production of “Lucia di Lammermoor” at the Metropolitan Opera.
