Jarrett Ott, Amina Edris & Daniel Brenna Lead Opéra de Lille’s 2023-24 Season

The Opéra de Lille has announced its 2023-24 season celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Opera

Jarrett Ott sings the title role of Mozart’s Don Giovanni alongside James Platt, Emőke Baráth, Eric Ferring, Chiara Skerath, Vladyslav Buialskyi, Sergio Villegas, and Marie Lys. Emmanuelle Haïm conducts the production by Guy Cassiers.

Performance Dates: Oct. 5-15, 2023

Daniel Brenna and Annemarie Kremer star in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde alongside Marie-Adeline Henry, Alexandre Duhamel, David Steffens, and David Ireland. Cornelius Meister conducts and Tiago Rodrigues directs.

Performance Dates: March 13-28, 2024

J. Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” will star Charles Rice, Amina Edris, Marie-Eve Munger, Christophe Gay, Raphaël Brémard, Franck Leguérinel, and Héloïse Mas, Julien Dran, Eddy Letexier, and Claire Antoine. Johanna Malangré conducts the production by Laurent Pelly.

Performance Dates: June 4-17, 2024

The season will conclude with Opera Live.

Concerts

Gabrielle Philiponet, Jean-Michel Dayez, and Pablo Schatzman perform a program of music by Lalo, Gounod, Massenet, and Puccini.

Performance Date: Oct. 11, 2023

Cologne Opera studio will perform music by Mozart, Beethoven, Offenbach, Berlioz, Wagner, Bizet, and Massenet. Soloists include Maria Koroleva, Tinka Pypker, Ruth Häde, Tina Drole, Armando Elizondo, Emanuel Tomljenovic, and William Socolof. Rainer Mühlbach performs on piano.

Hors-Les-Murs

Donatienne Michel-Dansac stars in “Die Erdfabrik” with Dirk Rothbrust, Christian Dierstein, Sophie Lücke, and Marco Blaauw.

Performance Date: Feb. 14, 2024

Sarah Théry, Karim Gharbi, Christia Hudziy, Quentin Manfroy, and Gil Mortio perform in Panoptique.
