Jamie Barton has canceled her Temple Music Recital on June 17, 2023.

The company said, “we are so sorry that Jamie Barton has been unwell during her time in London (including a bout of covid) and will not appear on Saturday. We look forward to welcoming her to the Temple another time in the future.”

As a result, “We are incredibly grateful to tenor Ian Bostridge CBE for stepping in on Saturday. He joins Julius Drake with a wonderful programme of Rückert songs. The distinguished duo recently gave an acclaimed performance of these songs Boulez Saal.”

Barton recently canceled a performance of “Il Trovatore” at the Royal Opera House due to COVID-19 and is set to return to the production on June 13 for the Live in Cinemas show. She performs in the production through July 2.
