Countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński and pianist Michał Biel will perform at the LIFE Victoria on April 18, 2026 at the Sala Victoria de los Ángeles of the Auditori L’Illa in Barcelona.

The program pairs Baroque arias with European song, featuring works by Händel and Purcell alongside compositions by Polish composer Tadeusz Baird and a song cycle by Mieczysław Karłowicz.

The recital marks Orliński’s return to the LIFE Victoria eight years after his 2018 debut at the series, where he appeared alongside Biel. Since then, the Polish countertenor has performed at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, the Metropolitan Opera, Wigmore Hall, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Carnegie Hall, among other major stages.

The performance kicks off at 8 p.m. local time.
