The English Touring Opera has announced that instruments were stolen in Hackney on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024.

The company took to social media and shared Joe Harper’s facebook post that said, “Devastated to say my Oboe and Cor Anglais were stolen last night between 00.23am and 00.27am from the Old Ship in Hackney. Both in a BAM Xlite double case as in pic. Marigaux 901 – SN. 43436; Loree CA – SN. GG09. Please keep eyes out, share and let me know if anyone hears of anything.”

The company also requested followers to contact it in case there was any information.

The English Touring Opera recently opened its spring season which is set to run through May 28, 2024.
