Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik & Schubertiade Confirm Performances Without Seating Restrictions

Two prominent Austrian cultural venues, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik and Schubertiade have confirmed that performances will take place as scheduled.

Both festivals have announced that they will organize events without seating restrictions due to the Austrian government’s planned reopening steps. Since visitors need to be either vaccinated, convalesced, or tested, it is required to produce an official proof of either vaccination against COVID-19, a recovery, or a negative rapid antigen or PCR test.

The Schubertiade has also announced that the wearing of face masks will no longer be mandatory during performances.

The Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik will take place from July 13 through Aug. 29, 2021. The Schubertiade will take place from Aug. 21 until Aug. 29, 2021 in Schwarzenberg, and from Sep. 30 until Oct. 5, 2021 in Hohenems.
