Independent Opera Company is set to kick off its 2021-22 season with a performance of a double bill featuring “Mozart and Salieri” and “Kaschey the Immortal.”

The showcase, which will take place on Oct. 22 and 23 at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, California, will star Daniel Brennan as Mozart and Joseph Dhanens as Salieri. In the role of Kashichey will be Xavier Prado. Other cast members will include Brooke Iva Lohman, Jamie Sanderson, Alexis Wesley, and Eli Katz.

The operas will be directed by Liza Barskaya with Galina Barskaya conducting.

The performance will also be live streamed, though information on how to view it virtually will be announced at a future date.

This production will mark the launch of Independent Opera Company’s 10^th anniversary season.
