Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival Unveils Two Concerts for Fall 2024

Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival, founded by composer Victoria Bond, has announced two special concerts this fall.
First up is “Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe and Jackson Pollock: A Celebration in Music,” set for Sept. 17 in partnership with The Village Trip. The event will feature soprano Amy Burton alongside the Dolce Suono Trio. John Musto accompanies at the piano.
The program will feature Tréfousse’s “Jackson Pollack Portrait,” Higdon’s “American Canvas,” Rorem’s “Trio,” an aria from Musto’s “Later the Same Evening” and “Dancing Colors” from Bond’s “Blue and Green Music.” This concert will take place at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
Then comes “Four Strings Around the World” on Oct. 9 at Symphony Space in New York. The performance, which stars violinist Irina Muresanu, will also feature selections from Victoria Bond’s “Mrs. President.”
