Ildar Abdrazakov is no longer being managed by Centre Stage Artist Management.

OperaWire has received confirmation that the bass is no longer working with the international artists management company which is part of Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company.

The news comes after Abdrazakov endorsed Putin for his reelection campaign. He was also recently awarded the Russian State Prize and has performed mainly in Russia over the last few months.

Abdrazakov is set to return to Western Europe for performances at the Teatro San Carlo in productions of “Don Carlo” and “Attila.” He also has upcoming engagements at the Mariinsky Theatre.
