London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama has announced a full slate of summer events replete with concerts, drama, opera, and more.

Voiceworks: Contemporary Collaboration will feature Artist in Residence Julia Bullock leading postgraduate and fourth-year undergraduate singers in a collaborative project with composers, arrangers, electronic musicians, and pianists.

Guildhall Big Band will present Ella Swings Lightly, featuring music from Ella Fitzgerald’s 1958 album “Ella Swings Lightly.”

Soprano Lise Davidsen will lead a masterclass for students.

In the opera category, the School will present Summer Opera: Kurt Weill & Monteverdi. The opera department will showcase a collection of Monteverdi Madrigals, “Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda,” and “Der Zar lässt sich photographieren” by Weill. Christopher Hopkins will conduct.

Jazz Vocal Ensemble Concerts will showcase the talents of the Jazz department’s vocal groups, and feature Guildhall Jazz Singers, Jazz Vocal Ensemble, Jazz Choir, and Conchord.
