
Grimeborn Opera Festival Unveils 2026 Lineup

The Grimeborn Opera Festival releases its 2026 season.
First up is a double bill of Gardner and Peniguel’s “Eden 2.0” and Lisa Logan’s “After My Breath.” Eleanor Burke and Marina Caldarone direct. William Gardner Productions and Keynote Opera are presenters.
Performance Dates: July 15 – 18, 2026
Barefoot Opera presents Mozart and Da Ponte’s “Così fan tutte.” Jenny Miller directs.
Performance Dates: July 21 – 25, 2026
The Opera Makers present Dring and Aitken’s “Cupboard Love” and Rorem and Stein’s “Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters.” Jonny Danciger directs.
Performance Dates: July 29 – August 1, 2026
“Erwartung” by Schoenberg and Pappenheim and “The Murderous Delusions of Gavrilo K” by Kevin Rodgers. Valeria Perboni directs. Tearworks Productions presents.
Performance Dates: August 5 – 8, 2026
Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” with libretto by Nahum Tate is presented by Ensemble Orquesta. Marcio da Silva directs.
Performance Dates: August 11 – 15, 2026
“Lowest of the Low” by Tuluğ Tırpan and Mehmet Ergen is presented by the Arcola Theatre and Yeni Opera. Ergen directs.

Handel and Rossi’s “Rinaldo” is presented and directed by Ralph Bridle.

“Bitter Visions: By Order of Hildegard” is presented by Florence Carruthers Andrews and Ololyga. Carruthers Andrews directs.

“The Magic Flute” by Mozart and Schikaneder is presented by Ensemble Orquesta and directed by Marcio da Silva.

Closing out the season is Händel and Haym’s “Giulio Cesare in Egitto.” New Trinity Baroque presents.
