Marquee TV has announced a new collaboration with Glyndebourne as the Festival’s official digital partner.

For the 2021 program, Marquee TV will stream Glyndebourne: Summer Symphonies which will comprise four concerts live from the Festival and featuring Glyndebourne’s resident orchestras.

The concerts will stream from July 2 through Sept. 10 and will feature the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Digital season passes to all four concerts of Glyndebourne: Summer Symphonies will be available to purchase from May 20.

In a statement, Susannah Simons, Editorial Director at Marquee TV said, “The Glyndebourne Festival is one of the highlights of the traditional English summer and is known and loved the world over. Marquee TV is incredibly proud to be supporting them by bringing these four concerts to both local and global audiences who are unable to attend in person.”

Meanwhile, Stephen Langridge, Artistic Director of Glyndebourne said,  “We’re delighted that the Glyndebourne Festival is back this summer but with capacity initially capped at 50% we knew that many people might not get the chance to visit us in person and wanted to ensure they could still feel part of the season. Our collaboration with Marquee TV is a chance to experience this summer’s concert series, in which some of the greatest symphonies ever written will be heard on the Glyndebourne stage for the first time, from the comfort of your living room.”
