Gloriae Dei Cantaores to Present ‘Thou Hearest Me!

Gloriae Dei Cantaores will present “Thou Hearest Me!” on March 8 and 9, 2024 at the Church of the Transfiguration in Rock Harbor, Orleans, MA.

The program features “Ave Verum” and “Civitas Sancti Tui” by Byrd; “Voce Mea” by Croce; “Adoramus Te, Christe” by Agostini; “Jesu Rex Admirabilis,” “Sicut Cervis” by Palestrina; “Da Pacem” by Pärt; “Pater Noster by Liszt; “Entreat Me Not to Leave You” by Forrest; “I Love the Lord” by Sibelius, arranged by Staheli; and “Psalm 67” by Ešenvalds.

Richard K. Pugsley conducts the program which is described as “a passionate dedication to illuminate truth and beauty through choral artistry, celebrating a rich tradition of Sacred choral music from Gregorian chant through the twenty-first century.”

The concerts commence at 7:30 p.m. local time.
