Opera Project Columbus has announced its VIVA Festival, Virtual Intensive Vocal Academy, which is set to take place between June 22-26, 2020.

The Academy will feature curated courses led by such figures as Giuseppe Filianoti, Wendy Taucher, Ed Back, Devon Cass, and Emilio Pons.

Bak, vocal coach and artistic administrator for Opera Project Columbus will teach a course on “The Music of Language” while Taucher, an NYC stage director and choreographer, will present “Performance skills for opera singers. Internationally renowned tenor Filianotti will dedicate a class to “Singing the Italian Language,” while Cass, a photographer and makeup artist will teach “How to get the Perfect Headshot and Image. Finally, Pons, Founder of Sankt Goar International Academy, will focus on “Auditioning in Europe.”

Each session will take place across the five days from 1-2 p.m. EDT.
