The Grand Théâtre de Genève, Switzerland has announced its 2020-21 season featuring a number of opera performances and recitals.
Ingela Brimberg stars in the title role of Puccini’s “Turandot” with Aleksey Tikhomirov, Teodor Ilincai, Martin Muehle, and Elena Guseva. Antonino Fogliani conducts Daniel Kramer’s production.

Marc Minkowski conducts Robert Wilson’s production of Handel’s “Messiah” with Elena Tsallagova, Elena Rasker, Richard Croft, José Coca Loza, Alexis Fousekis, Max Harris, Leopoldine Richards.

Rachel Harnisch sings the lead role in Janacek’s “The Makropolos Case” alongside Aleš Briscein, Sam Furness, Anna Schaumlöffel, Michael Kraus, and Julien Henric. Tomáš Netopil conducts Kornél Mundruczó’s production.

Jacques Imbrailo and Mari Eriksmoen sing the title roles of Debussy’s “Pelléas et Mélisande“ alongside Leigh Melrose, Matthew Best, and Yvonne Naef. Jonathan Nott conducts Damien Jalet and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s production.
