Fort Worth Opera Names New Director of Education & Community Engagement

Fort Worth Opera has announced that Anthony Pound will be its new Director of Education and Community Engagement.

In his new role, Pound will be tasked with expanding the audience and planning and overseeing activities of the Young Artists who join the Hattie Mae Lesley Resident Artists program.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anthony Pound as our new Director of Education and Community Engagement,” said Fort Worth Opera General & Artistic Director Angela Turner Wilson in an official press release issued by the company. “Anthony brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this role, making him an incredible asset to the company and the Fort Worth community.”

Pound previously worked with the Blue Man Group and Radio City Music Hall.

In addition to announcing Pound’s addition to the team, the organization revealed that Hannah Madeleine Goodman (soprano), Mariam Mouawad (mezzo-soprano), Ndumiso Nyoka (tenor), and Seth-Emmanuel Clarke (bass-baritone) will be the company’s new Resident Artists.
