Florida Grand Opera to Celebrate 82nd Anniversary

The Florida Grand Opera will celebrate its 82nd Anniversary with a black-tie Gala, titled “What Would You Do for Love.” The event will be held on March 16 at the Temple House.

FGO’s newly appointed Board Chair, Tina Vidal-Duart,will announce the plans for the reimagined future of the opera company, with special performances by Radmila Lolly and Samy Hawk. Opera singers Joseph McBrayer and Laura León will also perform. The event will also commemorate the 100th anniversary of Giacomo Puccini’s legacy by honoring the enduring impact of the iconic Italian composer.

The evening will also include Sissi Fleitas paying tribute to entertainment legend Don Francisco for his pivotal role in shaping her career and the careers of countless others in the arts community. Fleitas is the first FGO Ambassador who hopes to inspire South Florida’s youth through FGO’s educational programs and initiatives.
