
Florida Grand Opera Renews Assistant Conductor Felix Jarrar’s Contract for 2025-26 Season
By David SalazarFlorida Grand Opera has renewed the contract of Assistant Conductor Felix Jarrar for the 2025-26 season.
He will be working on productions of “Silent Night,” “Die Fledermaus,” and “Turandot,” in addition to taking on roles as vocal coach and orchestra administration.
“I would like to give a huge thanks to Florida Grand Opera Studio Manager Dr. Jared Peroune for being an amazing colleague and friend! I am honored to assist the Studio Artists as a coach and work alongside him and Principal Rehearsal Pianist Dr. Anna Fateeva. Planting roots in Miami and calling FGO my artistic home feels like a dream come true,” Jarrar noted in an official press release.
Jarrar commenced his tenure with the company as Assistant Conductor during the 2024-25 season, where he worked on “Die Zauberflöte,” “Carmen,” and “L’Elisir d’Amore.”
