
Felix Jarrar to Serve As Assistant Conductor at Florida Grand Opera

The composer and pianist announced the news via social media and said, “I am so honored and thrilled to share that I will be the Assistant Conductor for the 2024-25 Season at Florida Grand Opera for their productions of ‘Die Zauberflöte,’ ‘L’elisir d’amore,’ & ‘Carmen.’ Thank you so much to Maria Todaro, Matt Cooksey, and the rest of the team of Florida Grand for this opportunity. I am very excited to work with my fantastic colleagues on these masterworks in Miami. For the upcoming season, I will split my time between Miami and NYC when I am not on my contracted productions. I am very grateful for my family, my friends, colleagues, collaborators, supporters, and followers of my work. I’ve been working on establishing a new chapter in my career as a composer/coach/pianist/conductor, and that chapter begins now with FGO!”
Next season the company is set to open its 2024-25 season in November and will conclude the season in April.
