The Five Boroughs Music Festival Concert has announced its 2023 season.

“Voices of the New 2023 Winter Festival: SONGS TO THE UNKNOWN” will be performed in Brooklyn. The program will include the first-ever performance of Hannah Selin’s “and we fly away” featuring Voices of Ascension Singers and Players.

Performance Date: Jan. 31, 2023

“Voices of the New 2023 Winter Festival: LOVE, LONELINESS, AND LAMENTATION” will showcase the world premiere of Max Vinetz’s “cheap placeholders for real things.” The Voices of Ascension Singers and Players will perform.

Performance Date: Feb. 14, 2023 

“Voices of the New 2023 Winter Festival: CIRCLE IN MOTION” will perform the world premiere of Raquel Acevedo Klein’s “Songs in Motion.” Voices of Ascension Singers and Players perform.

Performance Date: Feb. 28, 2023 

“Ars Longa de la Habana: Golumbá Gulumbé” will perform selections from “Gulumbá Gulumbé. Resonancias de África en el Nuevo Mundo.” The artists will include Teresa Paz, Adalis Santiesteban, Andrea Trueba, Ariel Hernández Roque, Yunie Gainza, Daniel Bernaza Douglas, Oscar Cañizares, Abrahan Castillo, Beatriz López Paz, Arianna Ochoa Mesa, Aland López, and David Pérez.

Performance Dates: March 15, 2023

ChamberQUEER will be performed at Staten Island, Brooklyn and Manhattan
