The Festival della Valle d’Itria has announced its 49th edition.

The season opens with “Il Turco in Italia” conducted by Michele Spotti and directed by Silvia Paoli.

Performance Dates: July 18 – August 6, 2023

Francisco Soriano will conduct Massenet’s “L’Adorable Bel-Boul” with Davide Garattini Raimondi directing.

Performance Dates: July 19 & 20, 2023

Also on offer is Pietro Auletta’s “L’Orazio” with Federico Maria Sardelli conducting and Jean Renshaw directing.

Performance Dates: July 22 & 25, 2023

Next up is “Il Paese dei Campanelli” by Carlo Lombardo and Virgilio Ranzato. Fabio Luisi conducts with Alessandro Talevi directing.

Performance Dates: July 26 – 30, 2023

Baritone Marco Filippo Romano will give a recital at the Palazzo Ducale.

Performance Dates: July 27, 2023

Enrico Pagano will conduct a production of “Gli Uccellatori” by director Jean Renshaw.
