FEDORA Opera Prizes Announce 2021 Winners

The FEDORA Opera Prizes has announced the 2021 winners.

The award for FEDORA Opera Prize 2021 went to “Like flesh” from the Opéra de Lille in France while the winner of the FEDORA Digital Prize 2021 went to “Out of the Ordinary” by the Irish National Opera.

Meanwhile, the winner of the FEDORA Education Prize 2021 went to “Dance training for people with a disability” led by Platform-K and the winner of the FEDORA – VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet 2021 was “Peeping Tom/La Visita” from Fondazione I Teatri – Reggio Emilia.

The FEDORA award was represented by its President Jérôme-François Zieseniss and the Royal Theater of La Monnaie/De Munt. The awards ceremony saw performances of excertps from Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide” and Jonathan Dove’s “Flight” as well as soloists Raphaële Green, Maxime Melnik, Logan Lopez Gonzalez, Gwendoline Blondeel, and Kamil Ben Hsaïn Lachiri, among others.
