Eva-Maria Westbroek, Ermonela Jaho, Lucio Gallo Headline New Royal Opera House Stream in February

The Royal Opera House has announced two new Friday streams, including one (or three) opera(s) and one ballet.

The works will be available to stream directly off of the company’s website.

First up will be Puccini’s “Il Triticco,” conducted by Antonio Pappano in a 2011 production. “Il Tabarro” stars Lucio Gallo, Eva-Maria Westbroek, and Aleksandrs Antonenko. Ermonela Jaho headlines “Suor Angelica” with Gallo taking on the lead role in “Gianni Schicchi” alongside Francesco Demuro and Ekaterina Siurina.

Streaming Date: Feb. 5, 2021 at 7 p.m. GMT

The company is also set to stream “Raymonda Act III” by Marius Pepita. This ballet will be presented on Feb. 12, 2021.

Other works currently available to stream via the ROH website include “Andrea Chenier,” “Marguerite and Armand,” “Cendrillon,” and “La Fille mal gardée.”
