Eugenia Forteza Stars in ‘Sous un Ciel Argentin’

French-Argentinean mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza is set to perform in the “Sous un Ciel Argentin” concert on June 6.

Forteza performs in an Argentinean Tango-themed showcase alongside an ensemble featuring violinist Svetlana Sazonenko, cellist Amicie Ganvert, and pianist Laetitia Ruccolo.

The program will  offer traditional and modern Argentinean songs and tango pieces such as Ariel Ramirez’s “Alfonsina y el mar,” Carlos Guastavino’s “Pampamapa,” Carlos Gardel’s “Por una cabeza,” and more. Also on the concert will be a rendition of Astor Piazzolla’s “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.”

“Sous un Ciel Argentin” will be held at The Dominicans of Haute-Alsace, and begins at 8:30 p.m. local time. The concert is sold out.
