Essential Opera to Stream ‘ Etiquette’

The short opera film by Monica Pearce and John Terauds is described as a “delicious morsel of the Gilded Age washed down with a swig of the Roaring Twenties.” Tom Belding directs a cast starring Maureen Batt as Dorothy Parker, Erin Bardua as Emily Post, and Lucy Hayes-Davis as Nancy Astor. Tara Scott conducts and performs at the piano.
The opera will stream starting at 7 p.m. with the event featuring a live chat. The opera will then be available for on-demand streaming until April 3, 2024.
Next up for Essential Opera is a concert on April 24 followed by the ECMA Classic Showcase on May 4.
