
Ermonela Jaho to Retire ‘La Traviata’ at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma announced that after having performed the role 300 times around the world at the Royal Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, Opéra national de Paris, Arena di Verona, and the Teatro Real, among others, Jaho will sing three final performances on June 21, 26, and 30.
Jaho will sing three performances in Sofia Coppola’s production alongside Dmitry Korchak, and Amartuvshin Enkhbat. Francesco Ivan Ciampa conducts.
The production also Nadine Sierra, Ekaterina Bakanova, Xabier Anduaga, Antonio Poli, Luca Salsi, Simone Piazzola, and Ludovic Tézier.
“La Traviata” will open on June 21 and runs through 31, 2026.
