Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese Announces Remaining 2026 Lineup

The Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese releases the final details of its 78th season. Here are the vocal events.

The 21st Giuseppe Di Stefano International Opera Competition returns. This year, it will be dedicated to selecting the voices of “I Capuleti ei Montecchi,” with a jury presided over by soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci.

Performance Dates: May 13 16, 2026


The summer opera season opens with Verdi’s “Nabucco.” Renato Bonajuto directs with Giovanni Di Stefano conducting.

Performance Dates: July 12 & 14, 2026


Next is Bellini’s “I Capuleti ei Montecchi.” Massimo Pizzi Gasparon directs. Pietro Borgonovo conducts.

Performance Dates: July 21 & 23, 2026


Massimo Pizzi Gasparon directs Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore.” Bruno Cinquegrani conducts.

Performance Dates: July 26 & August 1, 2026


The Faraualla Vocal Quartet performs.

Performance Date: September 3, 2026


Orazio Sciortino’s chamber opera, “Magic Words Circus” is directed Alessio Pizzech. Sciortino conducts.

Performance Date: September 26, 2026


“Ghost Café” by Carlo Galante is directed by Giuseppe Amato and conducted by Mirco Reina.

Performance Date: October 17, 2026


The MDI Ensemble performs “The work (perhaps) of Francesco Filidei / Black Infinity” by Salvatore Sciarrino. Davide Santi directs.

Performance Date: October 31, 2026


Diana Buscemi and Mariza D’Anna’s “Out of Focus” is next. Buscemi directs and Maria Paola Viano conducts.

Performance Date: November 28, 2026
