Ensemble for These Times to Present ‘Mujeres Ahora’

Ensemble for These Times will present “Mujeres Ahora” on May 9, 2025 at the Community Music Center in San Francisco.

The showcase features music by inti figgis-vizueta, Gabriela Lena Frank, Tania León, Carla Lucero, Claudia Montero, Angélica Negrón, and Gabriela Ortiz. Soprano Nanette McGuinness headlines the list of performers, which also includes violinist Lylia Guion, cellist Vanessa Ruotolo, and pianist Margaret Halbig.

The event will also be live-streamed to audiences worldwide. The performance kicks off at 7:30 p.m. with a composer talk preceding the showcase, starting at 7 p.m. local time.
