English Touring Opera Announces Cast Change for ‘Lucrezia Borgia’

By Francisco Salazar

The English Touring Opera has announced a cast change for its production of “Lucrezia Borgia.”

The company said, “we regret to announce that Paula Sides has had to withdraw from our remaining performances of ‘Lucrezia Borgia.’ We are delighted that Katherine McIndoe, who stepped in to perform the role of Lucrezia Borgia earlier on tour, will return to the role for the remainder of the run.

McIndoe graduated from the Opera Studies program at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2021, where she studied under Yvonne Kenny. She is currently a Junior Fellow at the Guildhall, and was a Young Artist with Garsington Opera for the 2021 season.

She is set to join a cast that includes Thomas Elwin, Katie Coventry, and Aidan Edwards. Gerry Cornelius conducts.
