The English National Opera has canceled two performances of “Così fan tutte” due to COVID-19.

The company noted that “due to complications caused by Covid during the rehearsal process the performances of ‘Così fan tutte’ on Thursday, March 10 and Saturday, March 12 are canceled.”

The ENO added, “We are extremely sorry that these performances cannot go ahead and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We want to reassure all of our audiences that safety remains our number one priority and we are confident that we have adhered to all required health and safety protocols.”

Ticketholders will get a gift voucher which they can use any time in the next two years for any ENO production at the London Coliseum  except “My Fair Lady.”

“Così fan tutte” now opens on March 14 and will star Nardus Williams as Fiordiligi, Benson Wilson as Guglielmo, Soraya Mafi as Despina, Hanna Hipp as Dorabella, Amitai Pati as Ferrando, and Neal Davies cynical Don Alfonso.
