
Emily Rocha Joins IMG Artists for General Management

Soprano Emily Rocha has joined the roster of IMG Artists for general management.
Rocha will be represented by Associate Artist Manager Noah Sesling.
In a statement Rocha said, “I am so thrilled to be joining the roster of IMGA. I have admired this extraordinary team of artists for many years and am honored to be joining their ranks. Working with Noah and Matthew is a dream come true – not only are their passion and expertise in this beautiful art form exceptional and inspiring, but they are also such wonderful people. I am looking forward to continuing to blossom as an artist, and sharing my voice and my heart with even more audiences around the world.”
Sesling added, “I’m so excited to be taking on Emily’s management; her unique and impressive artistry is something I am immensely drawn to and I am honored to be working for such a lovely person and artist.”
Rocha is a current member of the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio and this season she performs the Countess Ceprano in Christopher Alden’s production of “Rigoletto,” and covers Juliette in “Roméo et Juliette,” Euridice in “Orfeo ed Euridice,” and Sophie in “Werther.”
This summer Rocha performs with the National Ballet of Canada as soprano soloist in “Anna Karenina,” and the Toronto City Opera.
Rocha a vocal fellow of the Tanglewood Music Center and a second Prize at COC Centre Stage: Ensemble Studio Competition. She is also a District Winner in the Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition (Tulsa District), Encouragement Award at the George and Nora London Foundation Competition Finals, and Semi-Finalist in the first edition of the Cascais Opera Competition.
