Eleonora Buratto has canceled her upcoming July and August performances.

The soprano took to social media and said, “Dearest friends, I’m sorry to announce that I’ve canceled all my engagements for July and August. The decision wasn’t easy, but necessary in view of my extremely busy calendar of consecutive commitments from the end of August 2023 until mid-March 2024.”

Buratto added that she is excited to make her role debut in “Suor Angelica” and “Maria Stuarda” and noted that she will sing in productions of “Otello,” “Simon Boccanegra” and “Madama Butterfly.” The soprano also noted that she will sing a Verdi Gala in Parma and the New Year concerts at the Teatro La Fenice.

Buratto concluded her post by stating, “I wish you a peaceful summer, with your dear ones and full of life’s little joys. I’ll be seeing you soon at the theatre!”

The soprano returns to the stage in October for “Il Trittico” at the Wiener Staatsoper.
