EastWest Artistry to Present ‘Valentine’s Live Salon’
By David SalazarEastWest Artistry will present its “Valentine’s Live Salon” on Feb. 14, 2026, at OPERA America in New York City.
The “Valentine’s Salon” will feature soprano Lena Wu as the evening’s principal vocalist, performing arias by Puccini, Gluck, and Korngold, among others. She will be joined by pianist Jason Wirth and instrumentalists Diana Skobina, Noah Stevens, Boya Li, and Xi Lu. The program also includes works by Scriabin, Abdullaev, Bach, Caroline Shaw, and Schubert.
“After presenting numerous in-house salon and gallery performances last year, this concert marks an important step into a formal concert hall setting,” Wu said per an official press release. “Our aim is to bridge the intimacy of social music-making with the rigor of a traditional venue, cultivating new audiences while keeping the experience warm and accessible. Taking place on Valentine’s Day, the romantic repertoire, along with small gestures like complimentary roses, invites both seasoned listeners and first-time attendees into a shared, meaningful encounter with classical music.”
In addition to the Valentine’s Salon, EastWest Artistry has announced an open call for classical musicians to participate in its April 18, 2026, production at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music.
