
Documentary Celebrating Anna Netrebko’s 30th Anniversary Released

In celebration of Anna Netrebko’s 30th anniversary of her stage debut, the soprano’s management has released a 30th anniversary documentary.
The 30-minute film documents the soprano’s operatic debut at the Mariinsky Theatre on April 6, 1994 in “Le Nozze di Figaro” and features interviews with artists who were involved in the production. Among those that are featured in the film are Vladimir Samsonov, Svetlana Volkova, Tim Coleman, Justus Frantz, Nikolai Gassiev, Elena Matusovskaya, Gennady Bezzubenkov, and Alexander Morov.
The film was produced by Bumblebee Productions Sàrl.
Last April the Teatro San Carlo celebrated the diva’s 30th anniversary with a special gala performance of “La Gioconda.” Netrebko performed the title role and received rave reviews. The production was eventually recorded for Unitel Classica.
